What is the Best Cooking Class in Buenos Aires?
I’m Saul Gerson, the chef behind this private cooking experience in Buenos Aires and the founder of El Arte de Amasar.
Before dedicating myself fully to cooking, I had a very different professional path and worked as an economist, including roles in Argentina’s Ministry of Economy and the Argentine government. Over time, I chose to leave that world behind and devote myself to what felt most meaningful to me: cooking, teaching, and welcoming people into my home.
That journey was later featured in La Nación, one of Argentina’s leading newspapers — you can read the full story here.
For more than 15 years, I’ve been hosting travelers from around the world in a real Buenos Aires home kitchen, where the idea is not only to cook Argentine food from scratch, but also to share an evening of warmth, conversation, culture, and hospitality.
Many guests tell me it becomes one of the most memorable parts of their trip.
